New Toy
Reel for the LTX: Loop Evotec 3G 3/5. Hands down the smoothest, quietest reel I've ever handled, let alone owned. Cant wait to get a line on it and get it on some water!

Beautiful reel, they are like artwork. Way over priced. There is no reason on earth for a $400 trout reel. At least you'll look good out there!

Didn't even pay half of MSRP, dUUd. Most mid-level trout reels cost more than what I had to shell out for this one. I agree that, from the mfg., they are ridiculously overpriced.

ORIGINAL: Cold Didn't even pay half of MSRP, dUUd. Good for you then. What will happen when the sun hits that fine polish while you are flailing away trying to learn how to cast, and all the fish in the pool spook? Still worth it?

A friend of mine has an Evotec in a satin finish, it honestly looks identical to yours minus the finish. All I could ever say after using it was.....WOW. Hands down it was the highest quality reel I have ever fished. I think you done good on yer purchase Are they still being made in Sweden?
