Trolling motor rateing???

Would anyone know how to compare a 3hp trolling motor to __lbs of thrust?

    15-24 lb thrust = 1hp depending on what site you find the info on

    I used to have a 3 hp electric Minn Kota that was rated at 50 lbs thrust....
