Fly Fishin "CHALLENGE"

myself and "kingtrout" from n.j..would like to challenge any dry fly fishermen to an outing of any day,, week of 4th...challengers must fish on top, we must fish underneath, loser buys dinner "reasonable price"..yum, can taste it now..within 100 miles of dubois,pa..can make it an all day outing, no kill fish, you pick the stream or we can..i can cook breakfast along the stream if intersted..its about time the nymphers put the dryfliers down the tubes..pm me or do it here, DT and Troutslammer, think you can take the challenge??????? bring your wallet....2 or 3 people maybe 4 at most..july 3 to july12th open dates..

I've heard good things about the little j. We should do this there.

What kind of bugs hatch there? I'm guessing a adams hatch or maybe a elk hair caddis hatch this time of year?

For your sake 270, I would avoid the Little J. The Coachman hatch is in full force now, the fish won't touch anything but them while they are poppin.

Also, they haven't stocked the Little J in a while so I doubt there are too many fish left in there.

yes... the adams hatch is this this time of the year
if the parachutes start poping... game over

    270... are you high?
no shlt a single dry fly can't keep up with you raking runs with leaded up double nymph rigs under a bobber...
a 7in tripple trebble deep lipped rapala over spawning fish sounds more sporting

it a frog gig "top water" what about .410 shells?

you'll spot me 10 fish on the J?
    when are we doing this?

Now that's funny chit right there. Man I'd love to be there but....... nah - I rather drink ale on Beale Street in Memphis.

The fish don't rise until late this time of year.  You're not proving anything.

    Let's fish 8:15 - 10:30 pm.

Anyway, another fishin' trip takes priority next week.  As it looks now, I won't be around July 1-5.  So if you plan to try to throw me in the water, you'd best wait.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

    270,
If I can fish tandem rigs also, make it a $1000 so it's worth the waste of my time and I'm in.  Fish for fish.  Also $50 for every fish over a tie.
You don't have to spot me fish either.

i think we'de take them in the clarion for smallies and trout, us top water.

you see they fish tandem rigs, that's 2 flies to one top water fly, now who has the advantage?
it's late in the year when most hatches are over with.

the little j sounds good. i'lll see what i'm doing july 4th or the following weekend. if the little j's the water i'll take thedrake. i think he lives down that way
