Guys, I won't be able to make it August 7.  Conflict with a concert I'm going to that day.

What slammer no spinning rods! That wont be a problem, I havent touched one since the oil creek outing! Broke my 5wt the other day, found out they dont like truck doors too much! hahaha Go ahead and sign me up for doritos and cookies DT. Cant wait to see everyone there! Is the fishing going to be more centered around smallies or trout?

here's what's up so far.
a few weeks ago i tried to reserve a pavillion off of vowinkle road in cooksburg, cooks forest, at $40.00, but they were all reserved. there is an open area in the park about a mile or so upstream from the rte. 36 bridge, that spans over the river, on river road past the Pale Whale. we won't have electric but i'll have my coleman stove and there are park grilles, like oil creek, that we can cook on. i have charcoal and fluid from the oil creek outing.
i also have two quick set up canopies. i may need help getting a few of the picnic tables under them but i'm sure hans and donny will help out.
i'll put directions, easy to get to, on the first page of this post under the sign up sheet when i get time.

this is also a good place to have the get together because it is across the road from the river and the canoers and kayakers can beach their crafts without worry and come get some eats before continueing on. 
(this might be a better place to see a bikini hatch also) 

this event is open to anyone. you don't have to be a fly guy, just come and enjoy.~jerry

I got my site reserved 2 sites down from you WF...
I'll be at site #35E....and if scotch isn't your thing....I'll have wild turkey.

...also,thats an electric site, so if someone has a roaster or crock pot they need to plug it until picnic time....more than welcome to use a receptacle....I'll take a power strip so there's plenty to go around.

sounds like a great time DT wish i could be there but aug7 has me at my nieces wedding in buffalo NY. HMMMMMMMMMM can we say lewiston and niagra river lol
