Where do you buy your tying material?

Hello all,
Just wondering where you guys and gals purchase the majority of your fly tying materials! I'd like to purchase most of my items thru the internet due to no close fly shops near my house. So if you know of great service, prices and variety of items let me know!

Thanks,
Bass

Bass Munch, unless you buy good quality dry hackle, like metz or whiting, you'll never know the color or quality you'll get from internet places. i like to see my dry fly hackle before i buy it.
cabelas used to have a good price for their brand of saddle hackle that i used for buggers but the last time, definately last time, i bought some from them they looked more like half saddles than full.
dubbing is more or less standard.
bass pro shop fly tying material is more expensive than anywhere else i seen. ~dt

I love flyfishers myself and the guys are more then helpful! The 1 1/2 hour drive is sometimes to far for just a couple items. I was trying for a reasonable internet place to get your basics for a good price. ie. hooks, dub, wire, tinsel that kinda stuff. DT made a great point why not to buy things like hackle you cannot see, feel, and touch over internet sites!!

    Thanks,

when I am out and about, I usually stop in the fly shops to browse......and pick-up a few items.......

but more often than not.......I get my stuff via the internet......all different fly shops........and most are quick to ship........I am super careful while using Ebay..........but most of the fly shops on Ebay are pretty darn good.........

never had a problem with Fish Usa..........and of course, we all know how Super Quick you get your order

Dubbing, thread, synthetics, hooks - I normally get off ebay. Necks, feathers, and even hairs, I like to see before I buy. Although Feathersmc.com you can certainly trust in ordering anything sight unseen.

The BAC in Fairview has a nice selection of material. Prices aren't bad either.
