fly line help

i am about to replace the line on my 5wt and need some advice.  i would like a floating line with a leader loop on it.  i don't ff a whole lot (no trouts in ohiyer) but really don't want junk.  i was looking at the sa mastery, the supra and cortland 333 and 444 lines.  any input would really help.  thanks,

rap

Rap, Call worm waster at FishUSA he can help you get exactly what you want. Plus he'll probably rig it for you.

I've heard hook and hackle hi floater is good line for $25, some say it's cortland 444 in olive instead of peach. I just ordered 3 lines today, as a matter of fact.

Not a cortland line fan at all but gotta give credit where its due.  All 444's I've tried were great.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

thank for the help, guys.  i went ahead and bought another sa supra from fishusa.  the 6wt that i bought is a really nice line in the hands of a novice, so with the help of worm waster, i decided to go with it again.  thanks again for the replies.

Ditto on the Cortland 444, I would recommend staying away from any 555 stuff, nothing but trouble for me personally, esp the "ghost tip" lines.... I prefer Scientific Angler's Mastery Dry Tip series myself....
