supplies

Looking for places to buy supplies for tying.
I have got stuff from a place in Erie when I lived there, then I moved and found most of the things I needed at a gander mountain but now I do not have a place close.  Looking for a place around west central (Jefferson county) area.  I am sure I can get some things on line but I like to look at it as I have not been tying for long and if I want to make or try something new I want to feel and see it before I buy.
Any help would be great.

There is a tackle store called Streamside Supply between Punxsy and Marion Center on 119 south. If he doesn't carry the supplies he can probably help direct you, heck of a nice guy, he has ordered things in special for me in the past.... 724-397-9294

they don't have tying materials.  they have finished flies and misc material (shot, leader, tippet).

if fishusa sold more fly tying stuff and had it on stock i would be more inclined to buy it from them then ordering elseware or driving down to Volant!
i understand the place can't stock everything. ~dt

Hit the yard sales on sat. fri. if you can. I get all kinds of different furs, feathers, thin leather, threads, and all manners of synthetics at them. Dirt cheap too,I got a hip length mink coat for $3.oo the liner dry rotted in it. I tie bead heads with it, killer fly actually one of my best producers in runs and pocket water all year round. Good luck, the search is half the fun!
