Ladybug

Think the trout will eat it ?????

Found hime laying on the tying bench thought I would glue him to a hook.
He awoke half way through the process and didn't like being coated with finger nail polish....

No way!  With the stink those things give off.  Now if the trout doesn't care, then heck yes.

If you submerge an insect in 91% isopropyl alcohol it preserves them like formaldehyde. If that one rots, maybe soak the next one for a day or two before you clear coat um.

fish a small run out towards the yough...

wild brown I harvested was packed full of beetles... I can see this working well, especially for dumb wild fish

"Sure, we can assiduously three-quarter our wets downstream, mend and wait out each fly swing, over and over again, which to my way of thinking, anyway, relegates the angler to the role, not of nemesis as it should be, but of butler."
