Im a Angler i fish where fish are whether its a pay lake or not. 2. paylake fishing is way more scientific than you think its not like going in your back yard to make grand dads old oatmeal in a sock bait you throw that in a paylake youll be watching water all night. 3. Ill be ****ed if i pay 40 bucks for a fishing license to just to go to fish erie no im ok ill go to my paylakes and win a couple bucks rather than come up in the negative with my money stupid. lets make a list 1.gas full tank pick up $75-100 bucks 2. bait $10-40 bucks 3.hotel room one night $50 so im guessing a weekend 150 200. what all that for 3 steelhead or some stinkin****walleye mmmm no im good ill go to a mud puddle with a bunch of dirtbags that are some of the greatest guys youll ever meet and have a good time winning the type of money you spend on your trip lmao so whos the idiot. This is seriously funny. Ok lets see if I have my thinking cap on today. You fish for anything in its natural environment and granted some lakes are tougher than others and you do well. You then go to a paylake where the fish in the paylake come from a natural environment lake. Those fish get caught in the paylake over again and before too long they become educated to what not to take as far as bait and presentations so every little bait thrown into the paylake is not just eaten but looked at closely and if it is something that doesn't scream danger to the fish they may eat it but chances are not.Don't see how you can think fishing non paylake areas would be tougher?

I think the point i was making is you have to be skilled to catch fish in paylakes as well as anywhere else....
I fished a paylake today,6:30am till 5:30pm and only caught 2 fish the whole lake was slow and they stocked yesterday...
My point was it is not fishin in a bucket...check out paradiselakes.net

This thread is a lil outta control. haha Those paradise fish are nice, but still not as big as some of the river cat pics I've seen. I'm still up in the air about pay lakes. I'll have to check one out to be sure. To go by the pond in the paradise pictures, it still seems to me that it's more like catching someones pets. Unless there is an extreme amount of natural blue gill, minnow, or frog reproduction in these ponds, I can't see how these fish are eating anything that isn't fed to them. If I got a chance to feed every fish I've ever caught beforehand, they'd all be behemoths too. Also, there's a lot more river to cover compared to a pond in order catch monsters. It's a shame that there's no river Blues around here.

there is lots of bluegills in the lakes there are 5 lakes guys catch bluegills and use them for bait, or go to local creeks for chubs and sucker..and the fish are big when they go in....stop there or call and talk to Jimmy he will tell you what you want to know.
He has rods,bobbers,rigs,and all kinds of stuff to get you started..real nice guy!!!
Man there are creeks and springs that feed all the lakes, far from being ponds full of stagnet water,lots of crayfish,grubs,bluegills,frogs,lotts of stuff to eat....
