it takes us a bit of time to tie up the many bags needed. tonight i watched nightmare on elm street and twisted up 8 dozen, that's good for 3 trips to the rocky or a half a day out east. i heard your creek isn't putting out any bounty today, sup with that?

I am not getting out till the first. I dont care what she looks like or gives till then. Got on the Mighty Chag yesterday. Had a solid 4 to 6 inches of vis. I am starting to figure out the new line and stick. I have to say, the short bellies and scandies are more fun to cast than that skagit. I know everybody around town loves the skagit. I am into it, but not sold just yet. Its making me change my stroke. I dont like change.

Hey Fella, How was your Xmas? Mine was great, thanks. Boy let me tell you my tree was beautiful again this year. I bet it will be just as nice next year and the year after that. No big holes, no crooked trunk to fight, needles stay on, and didnt have to water it. Perfect tree. Here is a something you may want to look into.
Absolutely amazing!!! You must get at least one. You light this baby up and the entire house is enriched with its fragrance. Seriously, have you ever even smelled a pine forest? I lit the candle up while the family was out shopping. They came home and yelled, "Honey! Did you put an entire 100 acre pine forest in the living room while we were gone?" I replied, "no, just lit this Sparking Pine scented Yankee Candle." I have no idea how they do it. It says on the label that it is made with pure, natural plant extracts. So that means its good for you as well. Pure Heaven in a 22 oz candle.

Skagit casting is rather easy to pick up. It also creates bad habits. That is why I am afraid of changing my stroke. I cant get out till the first.

I forgot to mention this. I put the 3 Lil Swingers in a horse drawn sleigh, or the bed of the Silverado whatever you prefer. Drove to the Hallmark store in the country, maybe it was just the side streets to avoid the law, to purchase the candle. They had a blast. Fresh air, could also be the smell of carbon monoxide. Holiday cheer, other people yelling at me for having a 1, 4, and 7 yr old getting tossed around in the bed of my truck as I jump curbs and hit mail boxes. We even stopped for some hot chocolate on the way home, maybe it was a gas station for me to get a cup of coffee because the Black Velvet I was sipping gave me a headache. Hey these are holiday memories buddy. By the way the train under the candle comment was very nice . We couldnt put it under the candle because I was to cheap to buy the stand for the candle. I dropped alll my money on a new stick and reel for myself. I didnt want to look for another extension cord for the train. So we just put the boys Matchbox cars around the candle and called that good enough.

I just wish fishbreath would post more. Dude makes me laugh more than all of you other fools combined. By the way my little outing was cancelled. Did go with some friends anyways. I swung for a short time but the ice build up and mass slush made my decision easy. I stood next to my buddies and drank my homemade Irish Cream while they fished. I made a game out of it. Every hookset was a sip. Every new sac was a sip. Every fish was a sip. Everytime they busted ice out of the guides it was a sip. I was Fn trashed when it was all done. The wife wasnt so pleased with me on my return. I told her at least I dont smell like eggs. That did give me some points but not enough to get me out of trouble.
