Favorite size fly?

Any preferences of egg pattern flies, nymphs, or streamers? Just curious what's too big and what's too small

    Big fly, big fish.

"If, when you pull a fly out you
dont hear drums and cant smell
chicken blood in the air, put it back
in the box, for if it is evil you seek,
then it can only be conjured with the
    same.

Tube flies-leeches or streamers, short shank, straight eye, size 6 or 8. Daiichi 1650.
    Eggs-Daiichi 1650 size 10, Tiemco 2488H size 12, 14.

For swinging, rabbit strip leeches or shiner patterns 2 1/2 to 3"
eggs, pea sized or slightly bigger for high/green water.

I tie them big.  In fact my friends and I refer to big streamers as "Parakeets."  Especially in the spring so the smolts will leave em alone.
