Fighting Butt Section

How do you add a fighting butt section to a fly rod?  I read somewhere on how to do it but forget where I saw it.

The only thing better than 1 day of fishing is 2 days of fishing.

    are you talking a rod you are in progress building?  or one that already exists complete?

    I know that cabelas and TFO make a slip-on rubberized EVA fighting butt that you can use, it's really not that bad of a setup.

    I can't type good enough to explain the whole procedure but stop at the house and I'll you show you how I've done the 3 I've done.  I used nylon nuts, a bolt and cork pieces and epoxy. twice and aluminum once.
