I've used Lumenoks before and even though they're pretty, they can be misleading. If you shoot your bow enough, you learn to follow your arrows. As for a beeping tracking device for arrows(never heard of them), anythings possible but I would hate to see the price tag on them.....

My buddy and I both bought one of the Carbon Express nocks to play around with earlier in the year. his broke after 3 shots, although mine is still kicking. I had no intentions to hunt with it really, just another toy I couldn't walk past in the store. Without a doubt it helps to see your arrow in flight regardless of the time of day. They also will stay lit until you turn them off, so you can find your arrow with ease.

I don't know about the beeper, that seems kinda silly to me. What if you miss a deer or any other game; do you think the beeper will help get you a second shot?

A friend of mine put a patent on a tracking device about 20 yrs. ago. The arrow would send out a signal on contact & the hunter could point a hand held meter to pick up the dir. of the signal.

Mostly used on bigger game than Whitetail though. He was always away in Can. on free trips to demonstrate it, it seemed. Think "they" sold a sim. tracking device to malls so mothers could track their kids also.

Love the luminocks. Gives you a little more confidence about exactly where you hit.

Better too far back, than too far forward.

2 white fletchings seem to do the trick for me, but they are cool.  I really like the beeper, but my arrow always breaks off.

I have five luminocks, Loved them at first. Until one by one they stopped working, and I was nowhere near the end of the life the battery has to light them up. Two of them still work, I'm not bashing them I just wish they worked longer than they have for me. I love the concept of them but $50.00 invested and I barely got two seasons out of them, so until they get the tweeking they need I'm going back to regular nocks for hunting.

I really like both the tracers and the lumenoks, however like previously mentioned they are expensive and break very easily.  Its gotten to the point that every time you shoot a deer it can potentially cost you $40 dollars or more.  My arrows are around $15, my broadheads are $14, Tracer nocks $10.  I pray for a pass through so I can re-use everything salvageable.  Make sure you take the nocks off and let them air out ASAP.  The blood gets in the arrow and I think that shorts them out.
