2nd Day Special
Monday was a perfect hunting for me. It started with a perfect wind blowing from the thicket to the field. I was nestled on a y'ed tree about 80 yards off a killer bean field. At six o clock the deer were moving, it started with a scrubby 4 point, he walked out at thirty yards. Ten minutes later another 4 and doe followed into the field. Another ten minutes passed and another buck (half rack 4) walked around me and out into the field. 5 minutes later I could hear rustling, but could see anything. On my feet looking around, a nice pennsylvania bruiser 7 point walks out at ten yards. Tree branch in the way gave me the perfect oppertunity to draw back and get ready. 20 yards away gave him a nice little grunt and stopped him dead in his track and placed a rage broadhead perfectly behind his shoulder. Let him lay for a little bit and found him about 150 yards away, double lung special. What a perfect end to a quick season.
The fishing and hunting is pretty good not so bad!!!
