Walnut Update 9/30-10/1

9-30  Arrived yesterday around 12, conditions were just fine, little bit fast but just the way i like it. Water was dirty but nothing wrong with that either. The amount of fish are in walnut is not what most people are expecting. Not alot of fish at all, there was more fish before the rain than there is after. The fish are stuck at the second waterfall hole above manchester if that gives you an idea of the water level. Caught four, two on green wooly, two on sucker spawn with flashaboo. Very small flies seemed to work.
10/1- Creeks conditions cleared up but water is my opinion was back to being low, not as low as a week ago but still low. You could see the fish now but not the quanity i was expecting to see. Alot of fish in manchester good luck getting them to bite. Caught two today both on little white fly.

Tons of fisherman both days, good luck finding spots. What made my trip was watching a mafia looking guy have 4 big split shots on and a hook, nothing on the hook but he had a hook on none the less. Wait a few more weeks to come up it's too early and not worth it yet. Good times

    Stopped down after fishing, too.
Suprised to see it still brown.
Didn't see one fish caught down low but did see a few on stringers above.

There are 3X more fish in walnut now then before or even more. You just couldn't see them or they spread out. By now a bunch of them have swam way up the nut. Heading down this weekend, double rigged crystal meth TrUSt mE dUDes

The fish can't swim up any higher the waterfall is holding the fish because of the low water.. Talked to a few of the guys that walked up said there was a few fish here and there but few and far between. Good luck.

come in to your post...either click the little mountain and past the link there or click the "image" and paste the linke between the 2 "image" words.

or click the "image" and paste the linke between the 2 "image" words

A slight variation that I usually use is to copy & paste in the URL, highlight it, then click 'image'. It shoots in the tags around the link.

I dont understand what is so mysterious about pic posting, but I guess people probably feel the same way about things I cant figure out.
