Shades Beach Boat Launch

Ha! Just got my Harborcreek Township newsletter today.  The township has hired another waterfront engineering firm to basically re-do the whole launch.  Long story short, they found a number of things that were done wrong (ask anyone that tried to launch out of it and they probably could've said the same thing) and there is now a lawsuit pending with the original contractors.  Maybe things will get sorted out and it will be a useable launch.

The ONLY way that launch will amount to anything is to move it about 200 feet further out into the lake, and channel the water from the creek thru it to make it self cleaning. The location sucks, the bottom is too shallow, and the entrance is situated all wrong. But outside of that, it has a nice observation platform.
