Last Clarion Trip ?? --

Well I probably had my last 2 hours of fishing this evening.

When back to Portland Mills and caught a Tiger Trout about 14 inches long, which was a real nice surprise.

Also caught two LARGE suckers.. one of which broke my line when I tried lifting him out of the water, line broke right at my knot...

Had a great season and landed many fish, but the best part, as always, was the joy of spending time doing something I really love --FISHING !!!

Time to get serious about hunting/scouting for deer... my #2 love

Here's a pic of what may be my last fish of 2009... notice the new sign in the background...

must be one of those new jobs Obama created ...

Nope they all took a whole big Canada crawler.. even the tiger trout... but yes just casting and letting it drift

NO WEIGHT at all.... water is still low and weights snagged too quickly in the lower water...

did not want to "mess" with the tiger .. so that's why there is no photo of it.. I have never caught one that big so did not waste any time letting him go.. unhook and away it went. I love their pattern.. reminds me of a  pike/pickeral ... pretty...

BTW -- if you look you can see where the water is usually up against the shore but it's down almost a foot behind me down towards the log jam...
