Access to the upper fly zone

Access to the upper fly zone

Is there access to the upper fly zone from the north side of the river? 
 
We have parked at the DEC lot and crossed the river at the end of the path, but I'm not that strong of a wader and it kinda freaks me out.
 
Any help is appreciated.  If it's a secret, feel free to PM me.  I won't tell.  Thanks.
