Nice tutorial cold ......... Helped me out a great deal! My black buggers aren't turning out real crisp so I am gonna tie a size 10 in purple / beadhead w flash

buggers done will send out tomorrow i hope as always they do good for everyone.thanks for hosting skip.Skip there is a lil something in the snus can for ya.also keep my bugger from my ties and take another for being in the swap.i tied a peacock/pearl body bugger with black tail and black hackle.

I would of had something near that, but loosing fly boxes is becoming a hobby of mine. thats what i get for putting off putting my name and address on the boxes.

OK guys, I'm almost done with my buggers. Off the top of my head, I've got: Black & Blue - norm's Pink & White - dru Pink & White - nuke Black & Orange Black & Red Black & White Green & Orange Green & Cream Red & White Purple & Orange Red & Orange I think the last one will be Brown & Cream. Once I get 'em all tied up, I'll take some photos of the whole lot.  Great looking fly, DC.

Skip, I've got a dozen tied up, and at this point, I'm just getting some practice to develop muscle memory and practice weaving, with the bonus effect of giving the swap participants a bigger selection of colors to choose from. If you get a majority of the submissions before the deadline, I'm good to submit my flies at any time.

Okay, here's the rest of the ones I've tied thus far. Adding this onto norm's, dru's, and nuke's, that's 13 flies in all. More to come as I experiment with different color combos. I'm sure I can figure out what to do with the overflow.  Peppermint bugger? (red flash over cream)  Halloween bugger? (black over bright orange)  Mickey finn bugger? (red flash over bright orange body, orange hackle, yellow tail & collar)  Olive over burnt orange  Olive over bright orange  Black over red flash  Emerald shiner bugger? (Olive over cream)  Sculpin bugger? (Olive over brown)  Purple flash over black  A bit more fancy, this one has orange and yellow hackle plus a turn or two of long marabou as a collar.

Im no longer allowing myself to join or host swaps with cold in(jk lol) he makes mine as well as 80% of our flies look terrible! its so unfair my flies have to be put up against sweet looking flies like that. Heck im sure all the flies in the box get jealous next to them!

A little too much credit there, kyler, but thanks. I have yet to get a fly in any swap that didn't look good. I still have many of them that have caught a fish and been retired to use as a pattern later!
