catfisherman's paradise in ohio

Anyone ever fish it? thinking about making a trip out later this month.

    which one? the 1 in belpre is now catfish paradise. the guy that used to own it when it was catfishermans paradise opened up another lake south of dayton ohio called catfishermans paradise 2. i go to the 1 in belpre every couple weeks, only been to the 1 by dayton onnce.

    the one close to Marietta. What can I expect? Is it as good as advertised?

    do you fish for big cats with the slip bobbers? if not forget about it. you got to find the wholes and fish them about an inch or 2 off the bottem. most of the lake is 6' to 8' with the holes dropping to about 11'. if you cant find the holes you may not catch to much. most of the holes are between the aerators. fish all nite and early morning. they will quite biting by 10:00 am and not do to much till evening. thats the time to knapp.

    fish the road side and cast between the aerators. cast half way across the lake then bring it back till you drop off the ledge into the hole.

    1 lake in belpre. it is now called catfish paradise. dont get 60s and 70s like you used to but lots of 30s and a few 40s. the other lake which was catfishermansparadise 2, is now catfishermansparadise. it has 3 big cat lakes and a lake for channels which you can keep and there is no limit. if you catch 50 or 100 you can keep them. it is by far the nicest paylake i have been to. check out the site. www.catfishermansparadise.com
