Did anyone fish this weekend? Haven't seen any reports and was wondering how everyone make out.

Have not heard too much. I think it's still slow unless your in the right spot at the right time, typical for this time of year. I'll be fishing all week, will try to post sometime then.

I heard some Coho's blasted up but otherwise typical early season blues.

I hope to get up next week if there's enough $ after a root canal & eye appt. so I can get more contacts.
Looking like Oct. for me ;(

You want to take a peek at salmoncrazy.com reports section. Some of the same guys here, but also more guys that live there and report as soon as they get back to the house. No major runs yet but enough to make a short trip worthy.

Stress is just one hookset away from being gone.

Well aware. I don't want to talk a site down that I'm a member on because i do enjoy pics. & the reports.
I do not agree with the unchecked battles that go on between fishing styles so I don't post there much.
I admit to fueling that fire from time to time. I don't care for a guy who thinks a fly flinger lines everything & if you aren't fishing with a pin you are snagging. These peoples comments are left unchecked & it is not cool. If the opinion of the fly fisher is given the post will be more than likelybe deleted. Nuff said.

I'll do my best to report this yr---live 17mi away and get out a couple of time/yr --not really into "hero" pics--but will give general location and what worked.

works great up there, Oswego, the western tribs, only just OK in erie tribs, and excellent on stream rainbows in upstate creeks. I have my best luck with them in stained water though
