Best thing is to send these in a padded envelope. Send in a large one with all your flies inside a smaller one. Postage is usually around $2.00. If you send in a regular envelope someones flies will get smashed. Last swap I hosted the flies that came in regular envelopes were pretty beat up. Just my .02

Good advice. Also, egg flies are small. Just throw them in an empty hook container before putting them in the padded envelope. They'll definitely be okay then. I use Dai-riki hooks, and they come 50 to a pack. 45 swap flies + 5 mistakes/experiments/MIA/etc. = Empty shipping container.

I think the deal is 3 flies for however many guys there are; for example if there are 10 guys in the swap we would tie 30 flies...and so on..

I have the right to remain silent.....I just don't have the ability

DreamCatcher - I was away for a few days and saw your posting about the swap. Wondering if it's filled yet and if not - I'd like to get in on it. I never took part in any of the swaps before so this is new to me. I got some time on my hands and since I'm at the "bench" most of the time anyway - it wouldn't be any problem for me to tie these up. It'd be great to see some different ideas and patterns. Let me know if there is still room. Thanks

Thanks Catcher for including me. Below are what I plan on tying along with some other flies I can conjure up. Most likely 20 something of eggs and the same with  droppers. Total of 45. They'll be on their way to ya next week. Thanks again. Again this is my first swap so hopefully I'm not tying what everyone else is. I'll do my best to please.

Surprised we are stuck at 12 people! Figured with all the steelhead talk over the past few weeks more people would have jumped in.

My flies are done, tied enough for 15 people, just waiting to see how many need shipped out and how many will go in my own box.
