lake O kings

After a couple of tougher weeks fishing for kings things have been much better the last few days. Strong west winds have push temps down and improved conditions alot. Spin drs and flies have done the best for us but I have heard reports of cut bait and spoons doing well also. From here on out the salmon fishing should continue to improve. We fished in 90-120' and hits were coming 70-90' down off riggers and 230-250' back on dipsies. Action was steady enough that we didn't even try the copper rigs.

Those are some dandy fish. Are they that much bigger, or just look it?

Thanks for the reports guys.  It's great to read and see the pics when unable to get out there.  Nice job.

Are the fish starting to stack at the mouths of the rivers yet? Or is it a bit too early ? Does it look like its going to be a good year? Thanks for the report and good luck.
