2009 Night before the "One Fly"

Night Before the One Fly *ROLLCALL*
 
“A tournament that accurately represents all the subtleties of fly-fishing doesn’t exist and probably never will. It would have to have not only casting and fish-catching competitions, but also categories for fashion…. Not to mention lunch and wine selection, the invention and naming of fly patterns, bird and edible plant identification, good heartedness, humor, lying, trespassing, philosophical detachment, creative misdirection of fellow anglers and so on.”

Well friends… if you’ve been to the One Fly I’m sure you will agree there isn’t a more grassroots or pure fly-fishing competition out there.
So in keeping with the spirit of the One Fly we will again mett at Crowley’s Restaurant for drinks, a chance meet some new friends and rekindle old ones.
Even if you aren’t planning on fishing in the One Fly and are going to be in or around Erie, stop on by have a beer and introduce yourself. All the rods that are going to be given away will again be on display.
 
We again have the middle room reserved. They can accommodate approx 50 ppl. Though we aren’t limited to that number we have at least 50 seats reserved.
Currently working on appetizer and beer specials for our group. There will be some sort of special for us just not sure what yet.

Afterwards anyone is more than welcome to come back to our campsite at Follys and keep the party going(or just get it started)
 
I hope to see all of you there, we had a great turnout last year and the staff had nothing but great things to say about us. They are very happy to accomodate our group.

    My Wife and I might be there... We're still deciding if we want to just drive early in the morning or spend the night.

    Some people are like Slinkies...not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.

    We'll need to consult the beer pong authorities on the "love glove" ruling. It may give you an unfair advantage.....lol...
