Ballston Lake





 
5:30am-3:30pm - caught fish all over the lake - all the largemouth came from the weeds around shore and my big smallmouth came outa 20ft of water ...

    Very nice smallie Jeff. I've yet to get one out of there. Largemouths all over though. I'm hitting either Dunham Ressie or the 'Hawk tomorrow morning. I'll let ya know how I did.

    SHHHHHHHHHH..... the smallie was on a weighted berkley gulp 7in turtle back worm junebug in the narrow part of the lake between outlet road and the main lake in about 20ft of water ....

    Thats a gorgeous smallie Reel!  I have a buddy with a house on BL, I'm going out with him later in the week I hope.  I know of a big rockpile they made out there, hopefully some of those smallies will be hanging there.  I'll put in a report if we go.

    Hey Dan - the fight was awsome about 5mins had 8lb test on - I didn't have a scale with me so I'm just gonna say it was heavy  - it was my biggest for the year so far.
     
    Hey Yank - if the rock pile dosen't produce try throwing a weightless 6in pumkinseed lizzard over the weedmats - thats what we caught all the other fish on ... good luck.
