Many years ago I used to fish there, and the fishing was great. I believe the lake is now owned by the Cherry Valley Homeowners Associaion and is off limits to the general public.

Yeah when I was younger, we would go down and fish for carp, bass, and crappie all the time. A year before the started building the houses, me and my buddy went down there and he caught a 16.5" crappie on a white rooster tail. Was the biggest crappie I have ever seen in my life. Not sure what the state record is, but if this thing was caught in a public lake, you better believe we would have had it weighed. Too bad its closed to the public now and the townhouses start at like $300,000+.
