Lookin North

I love this forum, If I was to want to head north for a weekend with a 14ft john boat and trollin motor no outboard. it bit the dust. and wanted to fish for walleye and panfish for a weekend even if I stayed at a hotel what lake would you recomend for a weekend fish-n-wish? I aint askin to give away your fishin holes but would you recomend a best bet for a weekend like that?
have some good places here, but sometimes its awsome to travel a few hrs and try a new place. Thanks

Saratoga Lake good for eyes and pannies, Tupper Lake good for eyes. Tupper has a good camp ground plus some primative sites around the lake you can get to by boat.
