Well I've seen it somewhere that they are the other white meat (now where did I see that?-----hmm, can't seem to recall.).

But no, I don't eat those things.  They taste like carp.....er, I mean crap.  Unless ya really know how to prepare them or so I hear.

That one in the pic is way too big to be eatin'-----it would probably really taste like crap.  I hear smaller carp, like many other fish, are better for the table.

Once that pig figured out it was hooked, it took me for quite a ride-----all I could do was hold on for awhile (that's the fun part), but I finally managed to corral it.

True, paylake fish do get tortured more so than wild fish, so what.  Anyone that lands a fish anywhere, tortures it, so.................

Not sure what paylake fishing has to do with this fish------are there even any paylakes in Erie?

My preffered bait also. Never had much luck with various doughbaits.

I've caught plenty of carp over the years on various kinds of doughbait and packbait.  Sometimes it's best to keep it simple tho and it doesn't get any simpler than corn or bread, especially when stalking 'em, like I did with the above carp.

Hey Pa nice fish. Have never been successful when actually targeting carp. Ive used doughballs and floated bread, mallows, and corn but nothing. Have caught them by mistake on soft plastic crayfish but thats the only time. I see them jumping all the time and cruising by but they never give any attention to my bait.
