    I know I will be up October 11th - 15th With some friends, then again October 25th - 28th with my father and some of his buddies for their first time in NY. I just hope the streams still carry some fresh salmon then for them.

    Any western NY trib thoughts about my fear?

    I have been up there the past 2 years on the 3rd weekend of October and it was pretty good.

    There should be lkots of kings around to play with on your first trip. Don't know that I could say lots of fresh ones on the second trip but they will still be around with some fresh ones mixed in. The steel should be making their presence known for your second trip.
    Trouble with long range planning trips to the G is that it is a big river and rains can put it out of shape for weeks at a time. Good luck.
