Salmon Season

Hey guys-
With Salmon season almost here I wanted to see if and when everyone is going.
I know it came up in other threads, but I thought it would be cool to not search for it if anyone wants to get together for some fishing.
I have a trip with gottum for whatever (Browns I Hope) on 10/22.
So 10-21-10/23 for that one. I will hit end of Aug. or Sept too, or both.
I would love to go more, but I have fishing plans other than the lake fish this fall.

So when are you going up?

2 hours away is much better than 4.5. So thats affirmative. I might have found my new Oct. fishing spot! So I think 1 or 2 in Oct is feasible.

October 25-28 NY pigs & browns

It seems the planing and technique thoughts run through my mind daily since
last year when I put down my noodle rod. There's just something about this Salmon/steele/ brown fishing
that drives me nutz. It has almost made me bored with bass, walleye and pike fishing anymore
    I still do it though.

Eagle Crg and I will be in a cabin at Selkirk from Sept. 21-28 just missing most of you.  However, let us know if any will be up that week and we will try to get together.  We have found that leaving a trail of beverages to our cabin has helped lure in visitors in the past, especially the ODD GRIZ!

Littlefisher- its fun. Big fish and all that.

SC- Hope all goes well with the recovery. You'll be up there for a while fishing? I'm sure she'll do fine. If you have problems I would suggest hiring gottum for a day. He knows how to get them to cooperate.

If any of you have questions don't be afraid to ask. You won't find a more seasoned bunch of anglers, and gentlemen all.

Almost forgot- I put in my Vac. for the first week of Oct.. Almost a done deal for me. I don't know if I'll be flying solo, or what. Have no clue where I'm staying, but it works out.
My family doesn't like me to fish there alone for obvious reasons. It can be a dangerous place.
I'm going up 21st-23rd too with a friend from another site. We're floating with gottum on the 22nd. Flyfishing for Browns if we're lucky!

I, like everyone else, will be up the first week in Oct.  May try to be there as early as the 28th of Sep until the 4th or 5th.  We should try to plan a get together some night like last year.  I missed last years gathering because I went swimming after some yahoo who stepped in a hole I had repeatedly warned him about.

You should have been here yesterday !!
