Crooked Creek Lake

Never been there before, just bought a boat. Wanting to go this weekend if the rain stops. Any tips or info for the lake?
Will you be there this weekend?

    I will be there on Friday, I heard the lake is up about two feet, not sure what this rain will do.
     
    They have a info line that you can call to see if the boat launch is open, I would suggest calling it before you load the boat up. 724-763-2764.

    hey lundman76.... do you ever fish in crooked creek where it meets the allegheny? if so what fish do you catch

    I have not fished down in that area for a few years. But I always would catch bass, walleye, and catfish down there

    Caaught a BIG!!!musky there aboout 3 years ago but every other time was skunked......Draggin a white 4" tube on the bottom..thought i was snagged.....guys used to always cast for musky from the rosston boat launch when i would launch down there....
