Saratoga Lake Report 7/21

got up at 3:45am on the road at 4:20 - guess what - I missed the dam exit on the northway got off at exit 13n instead of 14 and got lost for sometime (lol) finally found the lake and was fishing by 5:30am - NJ Bassmaster's had a tournment there 86 boats and a local bass club also had a tournment there (man was the lake busy) me and the partner caught 2 pounders all day here and there mostly on 6in purple worms - forgot I had the camera until the end of the day .... not sure what time it was - but it was weigh in time for the local bass club tournment ... saw one weigh in 6 fish 24 plus pounds ....

 

 
first pic is of a 4.6lb  second a 5lb plus trying to survive after the weigh in .. couldn't get better pics do to the crowd...

    I also was on Saratoga Lake 7/23.  Got there around 830am and stayed til about 230pm.   Very slow bassing in Manning Cove, not even a pickerel. Better luck in Fish Creek past the cr67 bridge, boated 5 bass in the 1½-3½ range, all on 5" Senkos in green pumpkin, mostly on weed edges.  Fun day til it started pouring.
