Hudson River??

Stopped by Bruno's yesterday the river's a little brown in color yet!! One guy fishing no bites!! Poestenkill Creek looked good No fish seen!! The next few days look good !! I'll be checking on my way to and from work almost every day!!! Reports to follow!!!!

    Jumping the gun a little perch !?!?! LOL

    The waterways are shaping up nice though. We usually start seeing the 1st few herring around 1st or 2nd week of April (weather being the biggest factor).

    BB, It's never TOO Early!!! On nice days like yesterday and today I can't just go Home!! Headed to the river today!!! Just love it!!!! Ps; I did see a MONSTER Walleye in the Poestenkill creek early last year!!! It looked like a big carp!!!

    backin79, talking about the Encon Officers (RL we heed Spell check) last year after working (3-11pm) I stopped at the Poestenkill Creek in Troy to see if I could see any walleyes and before I got two steeps from my truck I hear a voice "HAY WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING"!!!! (Before I got out of my truck I looked around and didn't see any one any where) I said to him where were you hinding???? He said No Worry about that and asked me again, I told him I just want to look at the walleyes!! Then He must of realized who I was and said I how you (not GOOD)and then he said Don't take ANY,turned around and went back into the rail yard were he was hinding!!!  I haven't had any trouble with Encon about taking herring from up river and taking them(dowm stream) to my spot!!
