From the looks of the water gauge I don't think you'll find it fishable right now.

Fished near Titusville on Saturday. From the looks of things (Garbage and leaves 10 feet up in the v's of tree branches) I'd say that most of the fish that were there are now residents of a different state! I didn't catch a fish. It has dropped another 150 since saturday so it should be awesome through this weekend.

Dumb question, but when does the season "end" before the official start of trout season?

    March 1st.

Fishing in trout approved areas or up stream of such waters is closed March 1 until the trout opener in April at 8am.
Special Regulation Project waters "may be" open to catch and released unharmed.
    Read your summery book.

Thanks, that is what I thought, but another poster said they fished near Titusville last week which was after the season was closed (unless they were at the DHALO area below the 2 green posts at Drake's well)..

I was in a special regs area. I love fishing to much to break the rules and get busted.

Goodsy, you should try to make it to our Fisherie annual outing at Petroleum Center this May.
