Yep...  I'd like to fish all the "Skills" in the Capital Region this season.

Wynantskill, Poestenkill, Lisha Kill, Normans Kill, Battenkill, Indian Kill...  Tuna Kill, Perch Kill, Yankee Kill...

    jkbugger -a Selkirk guy ?

I was born and raised there, know those streams pretty well

Depending on the weather/stream conditions i may try a few times in early April but than right into my striper season. Probably hook up with jimmy after work a time or two and hit the little stream by his work.

yah brian right now in selkirk, this will be my second year here. met jimmy last year but never really hooked up after. I know the local area pretty well and attempted my first striper outings last year. i've caught them by accident in the delaware river and got one last year but nothing big. this year I am planning a little bit more time and effort, but it's hard for a die hard trout guy to pass up april.

Yeah , early trout opener fishing is a blast. Jimmy you ever take a quad to nev mouth:) I use to but after 9/11 no way no more. I want my res permit! I just might troll to the mouth  with my 14 v lowe right after the melt. I know ADK kicks the cats butt but I know the prime openers where the big BT LLS SMB and chunky brookies be ! Hope to camp canoe whatever this season!
