Maiden Voyage

took the kayak out behind the house for some scouting. The water looked great but to my suprise nothing would take a fly. Figure the water is still a tad bit cold yet. Oh well it's getting closer by the day.
 
     A little ice for the cooler

 
       got to watch out for these floaters

 
              a good sign of things to come

 
       by now you must know this place

 
                    and here

 
                         a great day to paddle

    i guess that be catskill creek?  yup not much ice pack flowing where ever that be. what was ya you fishing for and with what?

    Nice pics RJ, i am sure that water was very cold. A few degrees warmer and i'm sure you'll be banging in there again.
