Where to stay/sleep?

Hi all,
I'm new to fishing the Salmon River. And I'm not familiar with the area much.  Where can I find a place to stay/sleep/lodge while there?  I've heard it's hard to find a hotel room or any other place to stay.
Any and all suggestions and leads will be appreciated. And what kind of costs?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

I'll second this place, been staying there for the past 3 yrs and its very clean. If your not a early morning person it can get noisy at the early hrs. Outside of the 1880 house in the center of the town (some) of the others leave a lot in my idea of a place to stay. I like comfort and a clean place.

If you're looking now, you're probably going to be out of luck.Lodging and rooms fill up fast, especially now with salmon season just sround the corner.Check around for the camp grounds near the salmon river if you don't mind staying at a camp ground.

I stay at the Super 8 in Pulaski. I reserve online at priceline.com. Never had a prob. getting a room. Started going there because my Dad and Uncle wanted to be sure we had cable so they could watch the news.

PA We had the same problem finding a reasonable priced place to stay. We used to stay at Brennon till they priced us out. Just did alot of looking at Salmon river and Pulaski area in all kinds of sites (google) and found a great place for 5 to 8 people. We now book it right away for the following year (first week of Oct) so it dosen't get away. I spent hours looking but it paid off. Alot of the places just are not up to par for the price and what you get, but we are happy now.
