Bite was slow but was a great day to be on the water.  Pappy, you didn't post any pictures from the side of the boat I was one.  Maybe that's good though.  Might have broken the camera.  lol  Was nice to meet some new faces and seeing the other board members again.

Thanks to all that showed up!  I fished off the back of the boat.  From past experience, this is usually a good spot to fish from.  Not Sunday, lol!  I guess I should have moved to the front.  Maybe those in the front were just better perch catchers, lol!

It obviously was a slow day for catching perch.  The question is.... why?  The couple of days previous sounded like great perchin' days according to the reports.  I understand that we were in the right spots (fishing over marked fish).  They just were not feeding actively.  I think we timed it right. That being right before a front came through shortly after noon.  In the past I've always done well right before a front passes and directly after.  Maybe it was the new moon?

changes in latitudes, changes in attitudes....nothing remains quite the same

Pappy: I must have walked right by you and your wife as i circled the boat during one of our moves. I did see you board the boat but when i circled i never thought to look for you as i wanted to say hello to stillhead. Glad to see you made a full recovery. The wife must be doing a good job looking after you.

If i counted right 5 of us at the back of the boat landed a total of 6 perch.

Good to see some old friends and meet a few new ones.
Even though the action for Josh and I was non existent after the 1st move, he still had fun and managed to out fish his dad 12-7.
I'd also like to thank Greg aka Beerman for doing the leg work of getting things set-up and a big shout out to Capt. John and his boys for the fine job and the fish cleaning.
Mike

Great trip guys even thought the fishing was tough.  I think between me and HarryApe5 (my dad)  we caught a total of 10 to bring home and we let a few go.  We were in the back left corner of the boat.  Had a great time.  The captain and crew were first class to.  Those two young boys never stopped.

Thanks Greg for doing the leg work on this.  Hope to see you all soon again.
