Nope, not even any sailboat encounters.  Like I said, I think it was the smoothest going trip we've ever had.  Spoonie didn't have to scream at anyone for being stupid(well, ok, that lady on I-90 on the ride back, but we were done fishing then).   I think Al had the one and only goof of the trip when he left his cell behind.  I'm not sure what to do when he calls wanting to go again, I doubt we'll have that kind of luck two trips in a row. I'm thinking we might be better off quitting while we're ahead.

Horse turds !!!

There ain't no way that you wouldn't go.

If he said you had to ride in the back of the truck, naked, with a box of dead stinkin' salmon
and eat two week old Krispy Kremes, you'd still go.

I see these boards haven't changed much....I've been out fishing and haven't had much time to get on here much, but those photos sure tell a neat story and I'm sure will be fine memories for all who had the opportunity to experience it.  Great photos and report stillhead!

Sorry, the keyboard was getting wet, I had to wipe the drool off.  I was just getting into the walleye fishing and you had to go post those pics...  Now I have the itch to go again.  Awsome fish.

Seems as though you are getting old Spoon - for I do recall that someone on that boat lost his cell phone in the spring and made a member of this forum hobble around for hours in search of it.  So I am glad to see that you went back for Bennedict Ally's phone.  Although I am sure he did not receive any calls whilst it was lost.

Great report and great pictures. i made that trip 3 weeks ago and fought to catch four keepers. It was so bad that most of the charters didn't even have trips that weekend because the water was a real mess from the previous days storm. Hope to get back up to the Oak within the next two weeks as the bite usually turns on big time by the end of July. I love trolling for a 25-30 pound king that fights you for 30 minutes.
