Terry Yocum aka "The Cripple" Passed into glory tonight

Sad news my friends.

About 7PM this evening Terry passed to glory and is now in the arms of his savior.
We who are left behind weep at his leaving us.

A memorial service will be help sometime next week.
I hope to meet many of you there.

I miss my friend.

May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the

Never met the man, but it is sad to loose a man of his fortitude. Our loss is heavens gain.
 
My thoughts and prays are with the ones he has left behind now...God bless them and give them the strength to go on.

If there ever was a man that deserved to be in Heaven; it would be Terry.  You will be missed by more hearts than one can count.  God bless you my friend.

Goodbye my friend. I'm sure the streams you are fishing now are much better than the ones we are. As you said before I'll see you in the streams of dreams. I'll miss our fishin trips, our hunting adventures, our sittin around shootin the bull for hours, and our trips to the OIP. Its a hard time but its was even harder when you were suffering. I'll miss you my friend I'll miss you. :-(

Terry will be sadly missed by the "community" of anglers that he loved so much.  I am saddened to hear the news, knowing that he fought so very hard many, many times.
 
My thoughts and prayers to his family, and to each of us as well.  Take a minute today to remember our friend, he touched many lives..............

I never met Terry either, but someone with a spirit like that is sure to make a positive impression on everyone he comes into contact with.  I'm glad that his suffering is over and he is now with the Lord that he believed so strongly in. He has definitely impacted many, many people on this board and throughout his life, that speaks volumes about him.  My condolances go out to his family and friends because he will surely be missed by many, many people.

While this is very sad news.Everyone needs to realize Terry realy did get his miracle as for many years before his passing he was very blessed with a following of many more friends , gifts and comedery then 100 people combined will ever see in thier life times. He will be greatly missed by more people then one could ever understand. While I almost never posted any coments on any of his posts this was due to respect for him to no turn any of his postings into a bash thread as we all know way to many like to target me so by not posting this problem was avioded. I still remmeber when he first showed up on the boards many years ago before anyone realy knew him. He was very worried that people would not like him and I told him this was not so because he if was to just be his silly ornery self many would never have a problem befriending him. Like the origanl post I made for him many years ago he still amazes me as even though he had so many set backs between heath issues and physical limitations he never let it stop him from doing what he loved to do. While I would love to keep going on about all the good things about this man I need to add this last thing about him as am getting a bit to verclempted to continue. Terry peace out my friend you have touched me in many ways and now you are in Gods hands now and hope he has a great fishing hole thier for you to enjoy.
