campgrounds

Looking for a campground on or near the Juniata river or some other waterway in central PA.  Trying to find a plce between Pittsburgh and York.  My buddies family lives in York and we are looking for something in between for a camping/fishing weekend.  Must have half decent facilities since the significant others will be coming along too.

You could maybe try Raystown.  It's minutes from the Juniata.  There's a good many there.  There are a few campgrounds in Mount Union too.

Here's a site for a few PA campgrounds.

Try using google to search for some.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

Ferry Boat is nice they have the there used to be a safari deal across the river, with zebras and other animals they put you in a bus with the roof cut off and you drive thru. The water is really low around here right now, so the fishin isn't that great.
