Next Gig

the next planned trip will be 1/16 > 19
I will be staying in Schroon Lake here: due to my regular place booked up. http://starrynightcabins.com/index.asp
The plan is to fish various lakes in the area with of course Schroon being 1. i'll be fishing fri, sat ,sun & mon and have the ATV along.
Drop me a line if anyone wants to get together..

    Rich:

With all this warm weather are you sure the ice will be safe???  I'll be home watching my Eagles try to extend their unlikely run to the Super Bowl, but my thoughts will be with all you guys!
Got a 39" Northern at Spier Falls on the Hudson yesterday, but not bragging after that 47 1/2" Northern caught on Mayfield Lake that weighed almost 30 lbs.
Nice to fish Spier Falls, as you can stay warm in your car as you watch your tip-ups from the parking lot.  Ice is now almost 12" deep in the cove, but the moving water outside the cove is what always concerns me with the guys going out into that area.
