any hair spinners out there??

Anyone like spinning deer hair or tying BIG stuff for bass or muskies out there??  It seems like most guys on here tie steelhead flies all winter, anything else goin on??

    I love spinning hair ...  Makes a mess though  LOL    I haven't done it in a year or so ..  hmmmmmmm

    Flyguy, did you tie those on wire or on hook shanks and then attach them?  I tied a pretty similar pattern in my dorm room in college, much to the displeasure of my roommate....

    That is some neat looking work!  How long does it take to tie one in conparison to the standard steel fly?
     
    Maybe one day I'll try it...

    The segments on the big frogs were tied on hooks, each frog used 12 hooks(I snipped them after spinning and attached them with 20lb masons. ya thanks for nice comments, Deer hair is fun to work with. I guess your imagination is your only limit
    And 350Z, The frogs are for display and take around 6/8 hours to tie and trim, the standard Bass bugs are alot quicker , maybe 1/2 hour or so

    haha it definitely does look like a Gremlin!! Hopefully those brown trout on the Little J don't get scared away by him!!
