tying egg sacs

i just started tying egg sacs and have a few questions:

after tying how do i store the sacs?
at some shops they are stored in a liquid...is this water or something else?
if in large quantities, can they be frozen?
i have purchased previously from two different shops. one leaves a large tag of material and the other doesn't.  is this
tag useful or just too much time to remove?
has anyone used anise or other scents?

thank you in advance for any help with these questions, or any other helpful info,     jim

if the eggs are treated you can just keep in the fridge
lf eggs are raw they will spoil after week or so in fridge, put in container[baby food jar], wrap in saran and freeze
trim the mesh off next to knot, i've had people say tag of mesh sticks in fishes teeth and you hook more fish, i don't think so.
never used scents with eggs, the eggs have their own scent[less with treated eggs]

if you really want to hook a lot of fish, scrape out skein and tie bags with it, fish it untreated. it's a horrible, slimey mess[i won't do it] but you will hook tons of fish

once you get your fill of big numbers of fish, you will probably switch to yarn balls or flies

I've used anise but only after I've gotten to the stream and IMO I felt that it didnt work all that well, but in the lake it produced more fish then people with just egg sacs and no added scent. I tend not to sent them anymore only because I dont care to carry the bottles with me anymore.
