how big was he ??

Pic of a rub I watched a buck make two Friday's ago about 8:15 am.  I shot two videos of him doing it but the cell phone video doesn't show nothing but blur and a moving blob.

Take a guess.  In looking at this rub, how big of buck made this?

We can stick with age, number of points, and spread.   Winner gets a new tru talker grunt call if they contact me with an address to sent it to.   IMO, one of the best, if not the best grunt call around.

With age, you got to guess with a .5.    Considering the time of year, all deer are "something" and .5 years old.   Example:  1.5 year old.

Spread, it's the widest possible inside spread on the rack.  Keep it to whole numbers.  Such as 16 inches.  No 12.5 or 7.46.  I'll round up or down if you do.   This of course may be my guessimation (if I didn't shoot him).

Number of pts.  Gotta be at least an inch long to be a point. I don't count the stubs.

I'll let it up until early Thursday AM, probably around 8 a.m.  If no one gets it, we'll start guessing again.  If you don't use grunt calls, guess anyway, and let someone on here or someone you know use the call.

You get one guess.   First to get it right gets the call.  I won't end it early if someone gets it right.

Age
Spread
Number of points

Here's the pics.  If you want to be analytical and give reasons for your answers, have at it.

Before I guess I would assume that you harvested it to get an accurate age on it?

Let's just say I know its age for sure but that doesn't mean I shot it.     Telling you I harvested it would eliminate 4 pts and below.  That's no fun.

I understand why someone wouldn't want to give reasoning as it could alter someone else's guess.   I did get a good look (perhaps I had binos ??) and you can be sure my guessimations of age and spread are right on.  It's a shame the video's are so horrid.  If someone doesn't want to participate and I can trust you, I'll give you the answers thru pm so anyone doesn't think I'm cheating in anyway.

I already have a couple true talkers.

I was so close to saying spike as well.  I saw a spike work a tree over silly a few years ago and then he did the old snort wheeze.  He thought he was the baddest in town.

Yeah, they can get pretty cocky. I grunted a spike in last year. He came in looking like he was ready for a fight. I wonder what he would have done if there was a monster standing there?

Lots of bumps and gnarls near the base of the antlers.  You've seen this deer in the past and considered shooting it, since it doesn't seem to grow brow tines even tho the antlers get more mass each year.  You may or may not have shot it this year.

Seriously, he looks absolutely ridiculous. Overly dramatic about everything. I have no explanation for what would cause someone to think they are too cool for tv but I would never hire that guy. Look out Clint Eastwood... Haratio Cane is tough ****.
