Mack the guy that was shot was in my neck of the woods.
He was a year younger than me. I think he shot himself in the knee with a 44 mag. by accident. Hes a good guy too. I will letyou know what happens to him....JUST Be careful with guns guys....

Just one time I wish a thread 1. would not be hijacked. 2.Would not end up a back and forth tyraid 3. If some of you wish to attack eachother why not use the pm feature. The story was just another one of Frank's crazy talk.  Sorry if it mislead anyone.  He's made stories up like that all his life,  not sure why. I could write a book. I'm not sure why he does it, but I'm sure he just can't help himself.  Apparently his dreams are so real he can't tell the difference between them and reality.  I'm his brother, and even I won't believe a single word he says unless I see it myself.  It's sad, but it is what it is.  I've always recommended to anyone who knows him to listen to him for entertainment only.  For 30 years, every time I run into someone who knows I'm his brother, within' the first minute of talking to them, they ask  "hey, Frank said .......(enter crazy story here) is that true? " 
 
I talked in person to a WCO this morning that surely would have known if a shooting had occurred on the streams. He said the only thing gun related on Elk creek this weekend was a lost pistol that fell from a fisherman's holster and couldn't be located.

i didnt see it first  hand, nor was i there on saturday....however, i fished the access area sunday morning and an old timer said something about a shooting down there over a broken rod....he didnt believe it himself til the buddy of the man who got shot showed him the inside of the mans car...covered in blood...boggled my mind he said the guy got lifeflighted to presby in pittsburgh...just odd that the mans friend continued fishing..and there was no blood on the bank where it happened...i dunno what to believe
