FOUND: A glove

Found a glove Sunday on Elk.  If you lost one, just PM me and describe it.  If its your glove, we'll find some way to get it back to you.

Just thinking out loud here, but is it really likely that someone would falsely try to lay claim to a single glove?

I agree, I dont really think anyone would, but then again, there's some goofballs on here.

I just figure its a long shot anyway, but I know if I lost a glove, I'd be pretty bummed if I actually had a chance at getting it back, but some bum claimed it just forthe heck of it.

So in short, no its not really likely.

Also, if theres two guys that lost gloves, I want to know who lost the glove I found.

    You guys are nuts.

I guess Mike felt it was important.  Idk, I'm just a guy with a glove.  If noone claims it maybe Ill wear it with another non-matching glove the next time I'm up in Erie.

I think it might be mine.
I think it was black or brown, made of neoprene, nylon or leather and had 4 fingers and a thumb.

    Why wouldn't it be important?

If I lost one of my gloves, Id like to have it back. A own gloves that cost upward of 40 bucks, so loosing one would really suck!

Besides, I "sticky" every thread for lost and found stuff.

If it were my glove, I'd consider it gone.  What's someone going to do with one glove?  However you never know that there might be some good samaritan out there that feels bad for you and wants to return it.  Although he needs to find you first and the internet is obviously the first place to go to get the word out.  On a lighter note, I appreciate all of your jokes as it breaks up the boring day.

I lost a  glove in elk a few weeks back.  It was black and had short fingers and a "convertible" mitten thingy.  Tucked it up under my armpit to land a fish and watched as it drifted away, never to be seen again.  Let me know if it fits the description.  Thanks.

Nope.  I figured out what kind of glove it was, and I doubt that anyone will really pursue it.  With its buddy, it retails for a whopping $15.

if it's a leather rawlings left handed catchers mitt. i'll claim it, i could use a new glove to play catch with my grand-son. (maybe it fell off of santa's sleigh)
