Landowner Appreciation Fruit Baskets

For those that are not familiar with this program. Two years ago a few local fisherman gave fruit baskets to a hand full of land owners around Christmas for letting us fish on the land. Last year the same group went to Gem City Outdoorsman Club, Northwest Pa TU and the Pa Syeelhead**** They each gave us $300 also recieved $200 in private donations to buy fruit baskets.
After posting this on this site we had fisherman say they would be interested in donating to the cause. Last year we bought 40 baskets and gave them to property owners that had the most visibility of fisherman and parking near their property.
If you are interested in donating your donations can be sent to the following address.
Pa. Steelhead Association, P.O Box 8892  Erie,Pa 16505
Plans are to deliver baskets the 20th of December.
If you know someone that has property along any of the Pa stream and lets fisherman fish there PM me with their address please. We have and old listing but I know names have changed on some properties.
Also with the baskets a card with contacts was given with names and phone numbers so they can talk to someone about any problems they have had.
Thank you for reading this and hope you all have a great steelhead season.

I work in outdoor retail and the other week I really went to the edge for this one customer trying to help her out and save her some money. She asked for a customer compliment card, and I gave it to her but also let her know I could care less but the corporate boys like to see it. The next day she came in with a loaf of homemade bread. I'd do about anything she asks now.
Fruit baskets. What an awesome idea.

Thanks to Jim Sharpe and a few others that he'd have to name for their efforts.  They are doing the work behind this. Just thought I'd post that, a few posts up top I only replied to Indizguiz to answer his question of where the donations can be made, I wasn't trying to make it look like I was doing any of the work with this.  Thanks to Jim Sharpe for his efforts.

I will post the others that help on the delivery. The Gem City Outdoorsman Fly Tiers started this. Most of the tiers are also members of the PSA,TU,Sons an Gem City Outdoorsman Clubs.

Wanted to give you all an update. We had 21 fisherman show up for breakfast and head out to pass out baskets. With all the donations we were able to buy 9 more this morning so the total was 89. Everyone was very thankful. Again want to thank all who helped and those that donated.  Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
