This Weekend, Oct 4th and 5th
Just wondering how many of you guys are heading up this weekend? It looks like it will be a good weekend fish the tribs. I see that there will be around 60 guys (and gals) participating in the "one fly" contest. I'm not sure which day I'll be up but I'll definitely be checking in on all of the streams, both east and west, sometime this weekend. Anyone know if the mouth of 16 has been opened at all with the little bit of rain we got?

Thanks Skip, I'm glad you told me. I'll be up that weekend too. So far I have plans to fish Erie every weekend till the first day of Deer season. I'm gonna try and get off work enough to make one or two midweek trips as well. Could someone please PM me the directions to where you folks will meeting next weekend?

Besides the air and water temps, today kind of gave me the feeling of late November. Wind, off and on precipitation, gloomy...you name it. If you didn't make it up today, don't worry. The creeks were high, fast, and muddy so the fishing stunk. I am predicting a mass slaughtering starting tomorrow thru saturday if the rain doesn't continue.

7 of us headed north, camping at Uncle Johns Sat evening thru Sunday boozing and getting a nice workout of the forearm on Elk.

i live in brookeville,having moved here 6 years ago to work.im from the erie area(mckean).seeing all this rain and reading what you guys are telling me about home,kinda makes me homesick for the area.you can bet your hard earned dollar im gonna be at trout run(if fishable)or walking the nut on saturday 1st light.just look for the big galoot with the blue kentucky hoody...that be me.

dont bother with 16 mile...there isnt 15 fish in the creeks and nothing is being caught in the lake either....i was just there
