Walleye--Depths?

Thinking about trying to squeeze a trip to the Lake Sunday if the weather permits.  Haven't heard much chatter about the walleye bite, just curious to those out there still fishing for walleye what depths have been productive recently?
My last trip out about 3 weeks ago we hit them pretty decent down around 75-80 ft in 95 fow of the point.  Also picked up a bonus steelhead.
I will probably avoid launching at Walnut or Elk to avoid all the chaos with the shore fisherman targeting early steel.  Any reports or advice to get me in the "ballpark" would be greatly appreciated.
I figure if the lake is rough, maybe I could try my hand at hitting the mouths from the boat for some steel...
Also I will probably have an open seat for anyone looking to make a boat trip out on the lake for Walleye, Sunday 26th.  I have a relatively small boat, so fishing is always weather permitting. [Early forecast is for 5-10mph N winds & waves 1-3 ft.]
P.M. if anyone out there is interested...Thanks

I would'nt want to take my boat out of the "NUTS" right now either. By the sounds of it there are too many uninformed people that don't reel there lines in when boats are exiting and entering the channel. My advise would be to buy a one day lic in Ohio and go out of Conneaut or Ashtabula. I went out of Conneaut on wed and got 12 by 1:00 and other people were hitting them pretty good also. You mentioned putting in at Elk ? If you have a smaller boat please be extra cautious of the weather and the waves !!! Good Luck and keep safe!

6 line out of Conneaut limited out there again on Saturday.  They seem to change their place almost daily now.  North winds bring em in a few numbers, south winds move em out....How they are in the fall.

Walleye depths are 52 to 100 ft, Shades launch depth less than 2 ft. ran aground twice saturday once on the way out with the big motor once on the way in with the kicker this is f***in frustrating what a poor excuse for a launch BEWARE BOATERS lower units are not cheap

OK CB you just about have me talked into Conny. Looks like the waves might be settling for Friday, down from 7-10 to 3-5. Got any good starting gps number?
